Please be advised that there will be heli-logging at the Nordic Center on Tuesday and Wednesday to clear out the Pine Beetle trees. There will be no access to the trails on those days, but if your planning on heading up in the evening then make sure and call ahead to ensure the trails are open. The Thursday ride should be good to go regardless. Ed
I will be holding a pre-ride of the Iron Lung course next Thursday the 4th @ 6pm. Everyone is welcome and we will hopefully do a couple of laps of both the main course and the relay loop. You will easily be able to do multiple circuits on Devonian Drop and the Ass Whupper to get you ready for the weekend. If your interested please meet at the Biathlon Building parking lot and be ready to go by 6ish. If you can’t make it by then just hang out by the Biathlon building and we’ll catch you on the next lap. It’s a super fun course so even if your not racing come out for the ride.
Hey Team,
Is anyone interested in forming a group for the Team Relay? I was upgraded to Expert after my win last weekend at the Perogy race in Edmonton. My spot counts as 30 of 100 points.

So it’s finally here! The much anticipated new website for Cyclemeisters is up and running with the theme of ‘if a little plaid is a good thing, then a lot of plaid is better!’ The guys at Curious Communications have come up with this new site with the hope that it will provide a more user friendly place for us to communicate as a team and to the Alberta cycling community. The ‘Home’ page will provide you with the updates from the club as well as links to club events. The ‘About’ page will give you all the info you need to use the resources that the team has to offer from equipment loans to reimbursement forms. Our new ‘Gallery’ will be updated with photos supplied by you so that we can keep up to date with how good you guys look and it will also showcase photos from our races and events. We have a new Blog as well. The old Forum was rarely used and was a bit cumbersome. We’re hoping that the Blog will provide a more user friendly venue for discussing upcoming rides, providing race recaps, and generally letting your team mates know what’s going on from your corner of the bike racing universe. You will all be registered to post on it so please make use of it to communicate to the team. We’re really hoping you all use the new blog … so get after it. Tell us your race story, your trip or trail report, or just simply check in to see how the other members are doing. Stay tuned for some more info on how to register for the blog and keep an eye on the site as I’m sure it will be evolving and changing a lot in the next little while. Happy Trails, Ed
